[iPad mini 2] 熱騰騰剛出爐的聖誕禮物 (plus How to activate free T-mobile 200mb data plan)

終於等到iPad mini with Retina Display，習慣了iPhone的解析度再看iPad mini總難免有些不習慣。

說到iPad，美國有些機場很高科技，大手筆支持國貨，候機室提供上網，連餐廳酒吧點餐都是每桌一台iPad！！像是明尼蘇達聖保羅機場和紐約甘迺迪機場候機室，可惜我們最常出入的洛杉磯國際機場沒有～

由於Big Fish勤儉持家地仍在使用iPhone 4s，外出還好，在家使用怕螢幕太小看久了傷眼睛，所以愛妻咪早就打定主意要買台最新的iPad給他，在家或搭飛機都適用～

我的筆電買過ASUS，平板電腦買過ACER，手機買過HTC，但是再怎樣支持國貨，跟蘋果迷結婚，漸漸Big Fish送的蘋果產品還是攻佔了我的小小世界。

整體而言，iPad mini with Retina Display有以下5大優點：

1. 輕鬆攜帶，介於大螢幕手機和大螢幕平板之間的規格，居家旅行最佳良伴。
2. 方便瀏覽，在家或外出使用，單手手持不會手痠，眼睛也舒服許多。
3. 超清畫面，iPad miniR 326ppi目前是所有iPad解析度最高，影像銳利，呈色鮮明。
4. 流暢操作，以前用iPhone跟iPad感受得出快慢，現在採用A7晶片速度變快，差別變小。

Here's how I activated the free T-mobile 200mb data plan

T-mobile's free data plan is very tempting, somehow their technical support towards the new account setting is quite poor.

I wasn't a T-mobile user. At first I had trouble connecting to T-mobile's network when I turned off wifi. On my iPad it showed that I needed to fill in a T-mobile phone number, and even T-mobile's representatives on the phone told me I need a voice plan which I don't really need. This is not how T-mobile advertise their free plan! So if you found your iPad needs a T-mobile voice plan number to activate the account of cellular data service, you could use the following instructions to solve the issue.

First, turn off iPad and take out the sim card by using the sim removal tool.

Secondly, insert the sim card back again and restart iPad.

Go to "settings"-"cellular data"-"view account" and sign up for a new account.

You should see an application form without asking for phone number and that's it!
